My new favorite museum – Musee Jacquemart Andre in the 8th district of Paris. If you’ve ever been to the Frick in New York, this museum reminds me of that one. The owners were, of course, wealthy, traveled the world and collected fine works of art. From Rembrandt to many Italian works from their travels to Italy. They had good taste. The museum is what used to be their mansion. They left the mansion and the works of art to the state of France in 1912 and it opened as a museum in 1913. Not over crowded which made viewing very pleasant. I highly recommend it. They have small music concerts in the great hall which I may have to catch.
